AppleInsider hat den temporären Bau aus der Luft gefilmt, konnte den Zweck aber nicht genauer erhellen:
Many have speculated that Apple built the structure as hands-on venue where event attendees will be able to inspect the new products it releases, which are expected to include iPhone 6 and, according to rumors, a new wearable product category.

Some have speculated it is some sort of ‘mock house’ to demo HomeKit integration, or even a popup gym to show off the iWatch’s fitness tracking capabilities. Apple’s demo rooms of the past are just that, rooms with desks filled with product. This isn’t normal. There’s also the chance it could be something much more mundane, like parking, of course.
Ich tippe auf HomeKit. Dafür braucht man eingerichtete Zimmer etc.
iPhones und iWatches sind mir zu klein für diesen riesigen Bau. Medienvertreter auf „öffentlichen“ Fitnessgeräten kann ich mir nicht vorstellen. Und ein schnöder Parkplatz wäre einfach zu unspektakulär.
