Mit 100%iger Sicherheit wird das neue, größere iPhone 6 vorgestellt. Dazu dürfte es wenig Überraschungen geben, das erste Review-Video läuft bereits bei Youtube:
Spannend wird nur noch, wann welche Größe (4,7\“ / 5,5\“) verfügbar sein wird, die Preise und wie die 4\“ Variante überlebt.
iWatch
Und dann kommt iWatch, ziemlich genau ein Jahr nach Samsung. Die beste Prognose-Wunschliste einer neuen Uhr hat James Gill @ Medium geschrieben. Ein Auszug (der ganze Artikel geht in dem Stil weiter, lesenswert!):
If we’re going to be wearing this device all day long, tracking every step we make, every beat of our heart, and every breath in our sleep, there’s going to be very few occasions where you’ll be wanting to take the device off and charge it. Unlike your iPhone that is left at the bedside to be charged while you catch some z’s, your iWatch will be on your wrist, keeping track of your movements and patterns all night. So when and how does one charge the device? What will the battery life be like? This is still a complete mystery, but I would be willing to bet money on Apple’s solution to these problems being a big reason for the device’s success.
Daring Fireball sieht\’s etwas anders – weniger Uhr, mehr unbekannt:
I expect Apple to do something different, and quite possibly something less but deeper.
And whatever it is, I think it will be controversial. […]
But there will be something, or several somethings, that will cause it to be misunderstood by those who are only able to frame new creations in the context of what came before them. Apple’s watch won’t fit in an existing mold. It won’t be a phone on your wrist. It won’t be a watch as we know it. We already have excellent phones. We already have excellent watches. For the Apple watch to be worth creating, it must be excellent at something else.
Auch das hört sich sinnvoll an.
Nachdem erst jetzt die ersten Teile öffentlich werden wird es wohl noch eine Zeit dauern, bis die Uhr zu kaufen ist, aber eigentlich müssen sie zu Weihnachten in den online Regalen stehen!
iPad
Zur Zeit kommt das iPad mir vor wie ein Stiefkind. Verkaufszahlen gehen in den Keller und vor lauter iPhone und iWatch ist kein Platz mehr für iPad-Hype.
Aber was wir (ich) wirklich brauchen ist eine kleine und feine Überarbeitung: kleinere Abmessungen mit gleich großem oder etwas größeren Display und TouchID. Dazu leichter und die gleiche Batterielaufzeit. Ist das zu viel gewünscht?
